This is Owen and Evelyn Kent. They are my grandparents (on my moms side) from England. My Grandfather worked at a motorcycle manufacturing plant until the bombing of England began. He volunteered to fly in the Royal Air-Force on a Lancaster bomber as a mid upper gunner. He was stationed in Kelstern England as part of the 625 Squadron. He lost his life on December 4, 1943 and buried in Hanover Germany. I had the amazing opportunity to visit Kelstern and the memorial that is placed there. The only other sign that there was a base located there is the remnants of one of the runways

While in England, I had the opportunity to visit the Triumph factory and get within inches of the iconic Steve McQueen Triumph used in "The Great Escape"... epic.

My mom's family embraced a racing heritage. My Great Aunt and Uncle owned a drag racing team in England (Pict right on Motorcycle). One of the most recognized cars of the 70's and early 80s on the drag strip was the green "Thunderbird". My second cousin John worked on the car and his brother Brian was the driver. I had the opportunity to visit the famous Santa Pod Raceway in 23. I love going to Drag Racing events here in the States as well.

Although I worked in the NASCAR industry for years, this opportunity happened through Realtree Outdoors for some designs I created for them. Going to the speedways are alot of fun and great for people watching.

I had a very short career as a model on some displays but then it got too demanding on my figure. Just kidding. I did debut on 1 display for a few months, but I also designed them so I had a great chance of making it. My daughters were featured in several displays for years.
